My name is Traci Cicerchi, and this is my blog.
I started this blog as a side project. This was created to help spread some positive vibes, health hacks, and forward-thinking wellness insights that I’ve discovered although my way.
I have always wanted to start online businesses, but I always felt I needed to learn more to serve others.
I’m an overthinker, over-analyzer, post-stress-a-holistic, and perfectionist w/ a need to ensure everything is perfect before moving forward. Let’s be honest; that doesn’t happen in life.
I’ve been obsessed with learning about health and wellness. That could be biohacking, nutrition(cancer prevention), mindset theories and hacks, and products- the latest and greatest for our bodies, home environment, or the planet.
The First Puzzle Piece:
I grew up in Oregon. I was a three-sport athlete for most of my childhood and into college. My love was soccer. I played soccer for half my life. I was awarded caption multiple times and got a scholarship to a division two college. I even played semi-professional soccer after college, but my knees didn’t hold up as they used to. (2 ACL surgeries) Fitness was my love. I loved pushing my body. I loved working together as a team to get to an end goal. This was the first piece of my Health & Wellness puzzle.
The Second Puzzle Piece:
I ended up moving to Los Angeles, California, and had a chance to live with two fantastic roommates. That was when I was 25, with no worries or responsibilities other than myself and my rent.
At this time in my life, I planned every little thing out, and my roommate, who still to this day is one of my best friends, was a go-with-the-flow kind of person. I loved her energy and being around her, but the man did not understand her ways. She walked around like she didn’t have a care in the world. I planned all my days and what I wanted to accomplish; if it didn’t go to plan, I would freak out!
Looking bad at this time, I learned a great deal from her. I was super set in my ways and needed more room for flexibility and the flow of life. She was a yoga teacher and breathwork instructor. I didn’t know what breathwork was until I met her. I learn much about our bodies, energies, and what we carry inside. This was the second puzzle related to health and wellness, and I have a corporate job at a manager level. I was grateful for what I had but burned out. I didn’t know of boundaries. I was available 24/7, so I burned myself out but I had saved up over 30 days of PTO.
I had this idea in my head that I wanted to travel to Europe solo for a month. Now, most companies and bosses would probably say, “umm, that’s a hell of no!” I was prepared to quit my job if they said no. Yeah, I know that you think I was crazy, but my boss was one of the most outstanding leaders I got the chance to work for. She was a rare gem, and she said yes, no questions asked. I was surprised and so excited.
The Third Puzzle Piece:
I went to Europe, met some fantastic people, and got to know myself well. I ate some excellent food. I felt like I had energy for days. No such thing as an afternoon slump or brain fog. It’s hard to describe, but I came back GLOWING – inside and out.
You could have given me a 100 parking ticket, which would not have gotten me down. That’s how high on life I was. This trip was the third puzzle piece for me. I experienced what it felt like to be fully happy and healthy in all aspects of my life- Mind, Body, and Soul. I believe a massive part of this was what I was eating. I wasn’t eating processed foods; I was eating fruits, veggies, and homemade options. I was walking everywhere in Europe- I was walking at least 12,000 steps a day.
So let’s fast forward another five years. Why didn’t I start the blog, then? I didn’t put the three puzzle pieces together yet. Ok, so fast forward to 7 years I get married to the love of my life and have two beautiful boys. What I did do during this time was losing myself. I started looking in the mirror and not knowing the woman looking back at me. I gained 30 pounds from both pregnancies and was at my heaviest. I began to review my life and what I love learning about. What I love spending my time doing.
The things I love:
–Health/Fitness: Once I get in my flow, this becomes like a drug. I get addicted to working out. (Hot yoga sculpt my fav) Im also a big believer that our physical body carries all our stresses and worries, which with time and no outlet, transform into diseases and pains.
-Food & Nutrition: I love learning what foods we should eat. What supplements should we be taking? What new study came out? My husband says if I could, I would buy a filtration system for the garden so I wouldn’t have to get the plants outside hose water. I love researching what products we should be using and eating and companies that provide for the planet.
-Wellness: Our bodies and minds are powerful beyond belief, and I love researching how to reprogram our brains, mindset training, and ways to improve our overall mental well-being. This might be through products, experiences, or people.
I hope the community I build is a safe place where we can learn and grow together, providing encouragement and making one choice toward a healthier tomorrow for each of us every day.
Cheers To A Healthier Tomorrow,
Traci Cicerchi
